Use Approve/Cancel Purchase Orders to review requisitions waiting for your approval. Approving a requisition will change the requisition status to "approved", send the requisition to the next step in the approval process (if there is one), and remove the requisition from the list of requisitions waiting for approval. You can approve more than one requisition at the same time.
You may want to print or preview the Requisition Budget report to review the current expenditures, future expenditures, and budget amount for a GL account. You can use this information to help you determine if you should approve or cancel a requisition. See the help topic titled Requisition Budget Report.
1. Open Connect Accounts Payable > Purchases and Requisitions > Approve/Cancel Requisitions.
2. Use the Requisition Action menu to select Approve.

3. Use the field titled Show Only Requisitions From Department to filter the requisitions that display in My Queue.
4. Select the checkbox next to a requisition number to approve it.

5. Click GO (CTRL+G).
You have approved the selected requisitions and removes them from My Queue.
Use the Authorized By field to attach the name of the user who authorized the transaction. This is a self-validating field. You can enter a new name or you can use the drop-down list to select from a list of previously entered names.
