How do I manage my stop fields?

When you're using Setup New Assets or Modify Existing Assets you can choose the order the cursor will follow to fill in the fields on the form. Pressing the Enter key will move the cursor to the next field on the form but you can change the default setting. You can choose which fields to stop at and which fields to skip to make entering asset information faster. 

 

Managing my stop fields 

1. Open Connect Asset Management > Assets > Modify Existing Assets. 

2. Click Stop Fields  mini-button and the select Manage Stop Fields.

3. Click Add a New Stop Field Group .


4.  Move the fields to stop at to the Selected Stop Fields list, and then click OK. 


The stop fields that you have selected are set up and you can find them in the Selected Stop Fields box. 


5. If you want to save the stop fields, enter a group name, click to select the Save This Stop Field Group checkbox, and then click OK. 

 

Changing selected stop fields in a saved group

1. Open Connect Asset Management > Assets > Modify Existing Assets. 

2. Click Stop Fields  mini-button and the select Manage Stop Fields. 

3. Click to select a group from the Group Name list. 

4. Click Select. 

5. Use the Selection window to edit the group. 

6. Click OK.
