You can also use Setup Alternate Orders to edit or delete alternate order transactions without leaving Modify Existing Cases.
You would delete an Alternate Order to remove an arrangement that was entered in error, is no longer valid, or has been replaced by a different court order or case resolution. Deleting the alternate order helps ensure the case reflects the correct sentencing, payment, or compliance requirements and prevents inaccurate tracking or reporting.
Courts use this process to maintain accurate case records, support proper financial and compliance management, and ensure court orders and reporting remain consistent with the current status of the case.
Deleting an alternate order
1. Open Connect Court Management > Cases > Modify Existing Cases.
2. Use the Lookup bar to enter a case number. Press Enter.
3. Click the Alternate Orders tab.
4. Click the Down button
to display the menu with additional options.
5. Select Delete Sequence from the menu.
The alternate order is deleted.
