Do I need to use YTD mode to edit a budget entry?
No, you do not need to use YTD (Year-to-Date) mode to edit a budget entry transaction. You can use either YTD mode or Normal mode. However, editing a budget is very specific when you use YTD mode. Remember, in YTD mode Connect will enter a new balance and not just a new budget amount. It's much easier to use Normal mode.
If you're not sure which mode to use, you can always delete the budget entry and use the new amount to enter a new budget entry.
