How can I track allocations?

In addition to tracking allocations by an employee's position, you can tag an allocation with a worker's compensation code, GL activity code, and job number.

The GL activity code can report on subsystems that are interfaced to the Connect General Ledger. This interface provides an efficient means of tracking and reporting on a GL activity code.

You can also use a job number to manage transactions created in Connect General Ledger and the Connect Project Accounting Suite, which includes Project Accounting, Materials Management, and Asset Management.

Before you get started

  • To track by GL activity, you'll need to set up the GL Activity codes in the Caselle General Ledger.
  • To track by job number, you'll need to set up the job numbers in the Caselle Project Accounting. And then, you need to set up the Project Accounting interface in Caselle Human Resources > Organization.
