How do I complete a qualification?


When an employee completes a qualification, use Modify Existing Employees to record who completed it, when it was completed, and what was completed.

Completing a qualification

1. Open Connect Human Resources > Employees > Modify Existing Employees.

2. Use the Employee field to enter the employee name or number. Press Enter.

3. Click to select the Positions tab.

The positions that have been assigned to the employee display on the Positions tab.

4. Click to select the position with the qualification.

5. Click to select the Performance subtab.

The Qualifications tab displays as the default tab. All of the qualifications that have been assigned to the employee's position display on the Qualifications tab.

6. Click to select a qualification.

The qualification properties display on the Qualification subtab.

7. Enter the Completed Date and Completed By.

The Completed Date is the date when the qualification was finished. The Completed By is the user who is responsible for completing the qualification.

8. Use the remaining fields to record the qualification details such as expiration date, license number, and so on.

These fields are not required before saving.

9. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The qualification is completed.

 

Filtering the Completed By field

The qualification settings determine which user names appear in the Search form for the Completed By field. If the qualification can only be completed by a mentor or manager, the Search form will display only the names of mentors or managers. It will not display the names of users who cannot complete the qualification.
