Issue

An employee pay code for state withholding has a begin date or end date.

State withholding amounts may report incorrectly. 

 

Solution

To fix this issue, verify the begin date and end date for the employee pay code for state withholding. You're trying to find out if the date is supposed to be entered or if it was entered by mistake and it needs to be removed. If you make any changes to the employee pay code, you will need to update the employee's payroll check and benefits.
