How do I change rate multipliers in WC?

Use these instructions to update the rate multipliers for calculating workers compensation.

 

Changing rate multipliers for Workers Compensation

1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > States.

2. Use the field titled State Code to enter the two-character state code. Press Enter.

3. Click to select the Workers Compensation tab.

4. Click to select the Class Codes subtab.

5. Click to select a class code from the list.

6. Use the field titled Employer Rate and Employee Rate to update the rate multiplier.

Remember, key a minus (-) to enter a credit or discount rate or key a plus (+) to enter a rate adds an amount or percent to the rate.

7. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The rate multiplier is saved.
