How do I convert year-end tax information? (OR) (2025.05)
When it's time to print W-2 and 1099 forms, use the Convert Year-end Tax Information routine to import the employee information from the Payroll application into the Government Reporting application. The Government Reporting application manages the information that will print on Form W-2.
This routine is updated in the 2025.05 release.
What's new

Statewide transit pay code was included. The Statewide Transit Pay Code box displays when there is at least one pay code with the state code of OR (Oregon).

Medicare maximum wage limit was removed.
Before you get started

Carefully review the employee information in Payroll. It will save you time when you complete the Payroll year-end checklist if you make sure the employee information is correct before you covert year-end tax information.
Converting year-end tax information
1. Open Connect Payroll > Government Reporting > Convert Year-end Tax Information.
2. Fill in the form as usual.

3. At the Statewide transit pay code box, select the pay code that was set up for the Oregon Statewide Transit tax.
5. Click GO (CTRL+G).
