This is the date when the employee started the position.
1. Open Connect Payroll > Employees > Modify Existing Employees.
2. Click to select the Positions tab.
The positions assigned to the employee display on the Positions tab.
3. Click to select a position.
The selected position is highlighted and the position properties display on the Position subtab.
4. Use the Start Date box to enter the MM/DD/YY the employee started the position.
5. Click Save (CTRL+S).
The position start date is saved. The position, including wages, allocations, and benefits on the employee position are assigned to the employee.
