How do I set up a leave rate to base the accrual limit on the anniversary date?
Set up a leave rate to use the anniversary date to set the accrual limit. Choosing the annversary date as the leave carryover date means the payroll system will use the employee's anniversary date instead of the end of the fiscal or calendar year to adjust the leave balance to the accrual limit.
The options to adjust to carryover include
Anniversary date. Use the employee's anniversary date (Modify Existing Employees > Job tab) to adjust the leave rate.
Calendar year end. Use the last day of year, December 31, to adjust the leave rate.
Fiscal year end. Use the last day of the the organization's 12-month accounting period, for example, June 30, to adjust the leave rate.
None. Do not adjust the leave rate.
The anniversary date option is included in the 2025.02 release.
