How do I set up an alert to process leave carryover hours?
Display a reminder when it's time to adjust leave carryover hours for leave rates that are set up carry over leave hours at the calendar year end, fixed year end, and anniversary date. The reminder displays on the screen when you calculate leave time. You can run the routine to adjust leave carryover hours before or after calculating leave time.
Warning
Calendar year end
Shows a reminder when the current period includes leave rates that carry hours over on 12/31/YYYY.
Fiscal year end
Shows a reminder when the current period includes leave rates that carry hours over on the last day in the fiscal year.
Anniversary date
Shows a reminder when the current period includes the leave rates that carry hours over on the employee's anniversary date.
This feature is included in the 2022.11 release.
Setting up leave rate notifications
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Leave Rates.
2. Click to select the Receive Carryover Notification checkbox.
