How do I verify the WC class code in employee transactions?
Use Verify Compensation Pay Code to check that each transaction with a workers compensation (WC) code also has a Workers Compensation pay code type.
Verifying the WC class code in employee transactions
1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Checkout.
2. Click to select the Other tab.
3. Find the section titled Employee Transaction Information.
4. Click to select the checkbox titled Verify Workers Compensation Class Code.
5. Click GO
(CTRL+G).
The error report lists the employee's workers compensation (WC) transactions that are missing the workers compensation (WC) pay code type.
Fixing the WC class code error
You'll need to look up the transaction that uses the WC class code and add the WC pay code type to the transaction properties.
