Export transactions to create a file containing transaction data for use outside of Property Improvements.
Exporting transactions allows you to share, analyze, archive, reconcile, or import financial data into other systems. This process can support reporting requirements, audits, data reviews, and integrations with external applications.
When transactions are exported:
Selected transaction data is extracted from the system.
A file is generated in the specified export format.
Transaction information becomes available for use in external applications.
Financial data can be reviewed, analyzed, or archived outside of Property Improvements.
Information can be shared with authorized users or departments as needed.
Export transactions when:
Transaction data is needed for reporting or analysis.
Financial information must be imported into another system.
Reconciliation activities require transaction records outside of Property Improvements.
Audit or compliance requirements call for transaction exports.
A backup or archive of transaction activity is needed.
Review the following information before proceeding:
The transactions selected for export
The date range and reporting period
The desired export format
Any filtering or selection criteria
Data security and sharing requirements
Verifying this information helps ensure that the exported file contains the correct transaction data and meets the intended business need.
Note: Exporting transactions creates a copy of transaction data for use outside the application. The export process does not modify transaction records within Property Improvements.
1. Open Connect Improvement Districts > Organization > Update General Ledger.
2. Use the Selection Criteria to select the transactions to include in the export file.
3. Click to select the checkbox titled Create GL Update Export File.
4. Click GO (CTRL+G).
The Print Setup form displays.
5. Click to select the Export checkbox.
6. Click to select the Save As/Export tab.
7. Find the section titled Export Options, and then enter the File Name.
Add the drive and path followed by the file name otherwise, the export file will be created in the default Caselle directory.
8. Click Print.
The export file is saved to the selected directory.
