How do I tell if a parcel has multiple assessments? (Inquiry)

Determine whether a parcel has multiple assessments to understand all assessment obligations associated with a property and ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and account management.

A parcel may be included in more than one assessment district or may have multiple assessments within the same district. Identifying all associated assessments helps ensure that balances, payments, and reporting accurately reflect the property's total obligations.

What Happens When You Review Multiple Assessments?

When you review a parcel for multiple assessments:

  • All assessments associated with the parcel can be identified.

  • Outstanding balances can be reviewed across assessments.

  • Billing and payment activity can be verified.

  • Account research and customer inquiries can be resolved more accurately.

  • Assessment records can be validated before making account changes.

When Should You Check for Multiple Assessments?

Review a parcel's assessments when:

  • A property owner has questions about their total amount owed.

  • You need to verify billing or payment activity.

  • Research is required before processing adjustments or corrections.

  • A parcel appears to have unexpected balances or charges.

  • You are investigating account history or district participation.

Before Reviewing Multiple Assessments

Gather information that can help identify the correct parcel, such as:

  • Parcel number

  • Property address

  • Account number

  • Owner information

  • District information

Using accurate search criteria helps ensure that all assessments associated with the parcel are identified and reviewed.

Note: A parcel may be associated with multiple assessments across one or more districts. Reviewing all related assessments helps ensure accurate account management, payment processing, and customer service.
