Webinar: Direct pay set up and processes (01m04m33s)
Learn how to set up and use direct pay. Direct pay is a payment where money is transferred directly from one party to another. In Accounts Payable, direct pay refers to funds transferred directly to a supplier or vendor to pay outstanding invoices. Direct pay may use a direct bank transfer where the organization transfers payment to the vendor's bank account, often using electronic funds transfer (EFT) or ACH (Automated Clearing House). With direct pay, payments are usually processed faster and more securely compared to traditional methods such as issuing paper checks, which can take more time to clear.
