Why is an allocation added when I change my clock in/out time?

This situation occurs when the time default on an employee position template is set to 100%. When the time default is set to 100% and an employee changes a clock in/out time, Connect will add an allocation to the employee's timesheet. Connect will create an hours allocation so the employee's timesheet total matches the time entered.

The time default percentage is located in Connect Timekeeping Employees Modify Existing Employees. Click on the Positions tab, click on the Templates tab, and then click on the Time Defaults tab.
