Installing
Caselle Connect can be obtained via the Microsoft Office 365 App store by clicking addins and searching for Caselle Connect

NOTE: If you've already installed the desktop version of miExcel the Connect tab will not show as the two addins provide the same functionality. You'll need to uninstall miExcel if you'd like to see Connect.
Version Requirements
Currently we require 1.1
They must have Excel 2021 version 2108 or later or use office 365.
Security
In order to use Civic Connect in Excel you must be setup as a miViewPoint user and have successfully logged in to miViewPoint first. It's important that the miViewPoint user have the Caselle User ID field filled in and have access to respective miViewPoint modules. For example, to access the account list the user must have access to the account list in miViewPoint.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with the addin try clearing the office cache.
Delete the Wef folder
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0
If addin is working but existing miExcel Spreadsheets' formulas aren't working, try the following:
- Open spreadsheet
- Go to settings > Info > Check for issues > Inspect Document
- Select "Content Add-ns" and "Task Pane Add-ins"
- Click Inspect
- Click "Remove" on any add-ins that pop up.
- SAVE
- Try to refresh a formula
- If formulas don't pop up, or are still not working, uninstall and reinstall the add-in and try again
If the entire addin is disabled, check that you are using an xlsx file. Just do File -> Save As to save in the newer format
