How do I reserve inventory?
Use this option to add inventory to a pull list. If you're using Caselle Asset Management, you can add the inventory and reserve it for a specific job.
You would reserve inventory to set aside materials or supplies for a specific job before they are issued or used. Reserving inventory helps ensure needed items are available when work begins, prevents the same inventory from being assigned to multiple jobs, and improves project planning and cost tracking. This also helps departments manage inventory levels more accurately and avoid delays caused by unavailable materials.
Do this...
1. Open Connect Project Accounting > Jobs > Modify Existing Jobs.
2. Look up a Job.
3. Click the Pull List tab.
4. Find the inventory item to reserve and then click to select the checkbox in the column titled Reserve.
