How do I disable direct entry for users who will be using Connect Online?
Issue
We want our users to use Connect Online to enter and submit requisitions and purchase orders. Is there a way to stop these users from using the Connect Console to enter and submit requisitions and purchase orders?
Explanation
User rights control user access to Connect and Connect Online. You can make changes to the user rights to control which applications, views, and reports a user can access in Connect and Connect Online.
Solution
Open Connect System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights. Change the user rights not to allow the user to create or modify requisitions and purchase orders in Connect, and then give the user access to enter purchase orders and submit requisitions in Connect Online.
