I'm setting up a new vendor and a warning message says that a vendor in the database is already using the address that is linked to the new vendor. What does this mean?

There's a vendor who is set up in the vendor table with the same address as the new vendor. The warning message lets you know you may be setting up a new vendor record for a vendor who is already set up as a vendor in the application.
Solution
To fix this issue,
use the list in the warning message to look up the vendor record that shares the same address.
check if it's the same vendor that you're setting up. If it is, exit without saving the new vendor record. You may need to undo changes to continue. And then, note the vendor number and name so you can use existing vendor record.
if it's a different vendor who uses the same vendor name, you can continue to set up the new vendor record.
