When an approval process is assigned to a requisition, the approval types on the approval process are assigned to pending. As the approval step moves through the approval process, the status assigned to the approval step changes. To review the approval status, you can look up the requisition in Enter Requisitions, Requisition Inquiry. or print the Requisition Status Report.
The approval step is not active and the approval step is not completed or canceled.
The approval step is active and is assigned to an approver for review. A completed date is not assigned.
The approval step is approved by an approver and the status moves to completed.
The approval step is canceled.
