How do I enter a filed return?

Use Connect to enter the information on the filed return and assign the status on the filed return.

Entering a filed return records a submitted tax return in the system. This helps track filing activity, update account balances, and maintain accurate tax records for a business.

You might enter a filed return to document reported tax information, process payments or balances due, support reconciliation and reporting, or maintain records for audits and compliance purposes. Recording filed returns also helps ensure that filing histories and account activity remain accurate and up to date.
