How do I set follow-up days and action on a code?

Set up a code that executes a follow-up action. A follow-up action allows you to set up a code to manage the question: What if the defendant does not comply? For example, if a defendant does not comply, the follow-up action may be to send a letter, set up warrant, perform community service, present a drivers license, and so on.


Setting up a follow-up action based on the transaction date

Execute a follow-up action that calculates based on the transaction date. The transaction date is the date when the defendant appears in court.

Do this...

1. Open Connect Court Management > Organization > Codes.

2. Look up a code. Press Enter.

3. Enter the Follow-up Days.

4. Select Transaction Date from the Follow-up Days x From The menu.

 

 

5. Select the action to execute from the Follow-up Action menu.

6. Click Save (CTRL+S).

Do this...

1. Open Connect Court Management > Organization > Codes.

2. Look up a code. Press Enter.

3. Enter the Follow-up Days.

4. Select Violation Date from the Follow-up Days x From The menu.

 

 

5. Select the action to execute from the Follow-up Action menu.
