I can't launch Create State Reporting File. Why not?

Issue

I need to create a state reporting file for my state. But when I launch the Create State Reporting File link, a warning message displays that says, "State Not Implemented: We have not yet implemented your state for electronic reporting." I know electronic reporting is set up for my state. Why am I seeing this error message?

 

 

Explanation

The error message displays when

  • the state reporting file for a state does not have an electronic file created for it.  

  • the state is not entered in the State box in Organization. (Organization > Organization) 

 

 

State reporting is set up for:

  • Colorado (CO)

  • Kansas (KS)

  • New Mexico (NM)

  • Oklahoma (OK)

  • Oregon (OR)

  • Texas (TX)

 

 

Solution

To fix this issue, 

  • check if the state has an electronic reporting file and it's supported by Connect Court Management. If the state is not supported, contact Caselle support to submit a support ticket to request it. 

  • check if the state 2-character abbreviation (that needs the state reporting file) is entered in the State box in Organization.
