What does Walk Through do in Enter Budget Amounts?

Enter budget amounts for all GL accounts. Using Next (F3) will move you smoothly through all of the GL accounts in the General Ledger so you can enter a budget amount for each GL account. For example, if you want to make entries for your entire chart of accounts. Instead of typing each account number, you can type in an amount and Connect will display the next account for you.


Turning on Walk Through mode

1. Open Connect General Ledger > Budgeting > Enter Budget Amounts.

2. Set up the Enter Budget Amounts Options.

3. Click Next (F3).

 

 

The next account number displays in the Account field.


4. Enter the Amount.

 

 

5. Press Enter to enter the amount for the next account.

6. When you're done. click Next (F3) again to turn off Walk Through mode.
