Employee pay codes grid - Abbreviations

The Employee Pay Codes grid on the Enter Payroll Checks, Enter Supplementation Checks, Enter Termination Checks, and Enter Manual Checks use the following abbreviations when space is limited.

 

Codes

The Code column shows the amount/rate/percent code that is set on the employee pay code.

CA, Calculation

%H, Hourly

%A, Percent of Amount

RH, Rate per Hour

RU, Rater per Unit

SA, Salary

 

Pay code types

The Type column shows the pay code type that is set on the employee pay code.

9D, 1099 Dividend

9I, 1099 Interest

9O, 1099 Other

9P, 1099 Prizes

9R, 1099 Retirement

9Y, 1099 Royalties

D, Deduction

DN, Direct Deposit Net

E, Expense

FU, Federal Unemployment

FW, Federal Withholding

FB, Fringe Benefit

GM, Gross Miscellaneous

GO, Gross Overtime

GR, Gross Regular

GT, Gross Tips Collected

IT, Info Tips Collected

I, Informational

L, Local Tax

MD, Medicare

N, Net

R, Retirement

SS, Social Security

SU, State Unemployment

Entry types

The Entry Types column shows the entry type that was used to enter the pay code.

Calc, Calculation

This transaction is calculated. It is not an exception. It did not come from Timekeeping.

Excp, Exception

An exception that was entered using the Payroll or Timekeeping application.

Sngl, Single Check

A single check entry that was entered using the Payroll application.

S-Ex, Supplemental Check Exception

A supplemental check exception that was entered using the Payroll application.

S-Sn, Supplemental Single Check

A supplemental single check that was entered using the Payroll application.

Term, Termination

A termination check that was entered using the Payroll application.

Manl, Manual

A manual check that was entered using the Payroll application.

Impt, Imported

An imported check that was imported using the Timekeeping application.
