How do I allow payout payments? (Pay Codes)

Use the option to allow payout payments on pay codes that allow the organization to calculate a payout amount in lieu of leave or sick hours. Examples of pay codes that allow payout payments may include comp time, vacation, and sick leave.

Do not use this option if the pay code does not allow payout payments in lieu of leave time. Example: City XYZ does not allow employees with this pay code to convert unused leave hours into a dollar amount. City XYZ wants the employee to use the allotted leave hours for rest and recovery.
