Look up the employee transaction history to see if the employee has transactions created in the current year with a transaction date that occurs after the pay code is terminated. Adding an end date to a pay code stops payroll from using the pay code to create new transactions. The employee transaction history should not include any transactions that were created after the pay code end date.
Using the Checkout with the Check for Transactions after Pay Code End Dates checkbox selected willl search for transactions that use a terminated pay code to create a transaction. The Checkout error report will list the pay code number and description and the employee number of the employee with the invalid transaction.
