How do I set up a long-term disability pay code?

Add a new pay code that will calculate long-term disability. Before you get started, make sure you have set up a long-term disability (LTD) calculation table, LTD calculation formula, and LTD calculation. You will need them to set up the LTD pay code. 

What if I already have a long-term disability pay code? You can edit the pay code to add the LTD calculation table, LTD calculation formula, LTD calculation; 

Adding a pay code for long-term disability pay

1. Open Connect Payroll > Organization > Pay Codes.

2. Click New (Ctrl+N).

3. Assign the new pay code a number by typing the number in the Pay Code field.

4. Assign the new pay code a sub code number by typing the number in the Sub Code field.

5. Type the Pay Code Title.

The title could be any title that you want to give this pay code.

6. Type the Abbreviated Title.

7. Use the Type field to select Fringe Benefit.

8. Click Save (Ctrl+S).
