5a. Print the leave report

After you have adjusted the leave time balances, print the leave report again. You can compare the leave report that was printed after leave was adjusted with the leave report that was printed before leave was adjusted. You should verify the new leave balances.

Important! Make sure the date range for the leave report includes the pay period for the 12/31/YYYY date.

How do I print the Leave Report?

1. Open Connect Payroll > Reports > Leave Report.

Do not change the report dates. The report date range will default to the current pay period.

Why don’t I change the report dates to the calendar year? The Leave Report lists year-to-date totals for the current pay period, so there’s no need to change the report dates to the calendar year.

2. Click Print (Ctrl+P) to print the report.

You can also Preview (CTRL+Q) the report and save the report as a PDF. You will need to refer to this report later.

3. Set the Leave Report aside.

This is the report that shows leave time balances BEFORE leave time is adjusted. Later, you’ll use this report to verify leave time balances after leave time is adjusted.
