6a. Back up the current year's payroll data

Back up the files created during the current year in Payroll. You will need the backup copy if you need to restore transactions that may be deleted from the Payroll database.

Backing up the Payroll database

1. Open Connect System Management > System Tools > Send Databases. 

2. Set up the send data options to save the payroll (PR0) database as a backup file.
