Warning: Delete historical tax information

Issue

When I convert year-end tax information, a warning message asks me if I want to delete historical tax information. What do I do?

Explanation

This warning displays when you are converting year-end tax information for the current payroll year and you have converted year-end information for a prior year. The converted prior year is the historical information being referenced in the warning dialog box.

Solution

Choose an option.

  • Click No (recommended) to convert the current payroll year and KEEP the converted prior payroll years.

  • Click Yes to delete the converted prior payroll years and then convert the current payroll year.

If you clicked Yes by mistake and you need to recover the historical information, call support at (800) 228-9851 for assistance.
