How do I add a certified rate to a taxing entity?

Connect will use the certified rate to calculate the district mill rate. This is how Connect will use the certified rate to calculate a district's mill rate.


Taxing District Mill Rate = (Taxing Entity Mill Rate 1 + Taxing Entity Mill Rate 2 + Taxing Entity Mill Rate 3 + ....)/1000

 

Do this...
Follow these instructions to assign a mill rate to each taxing entity that has a mill rate.

1. Open Connect Property Tax Collection > Taxing Entities > Modify Existing Taxing Entity.

2. Look up a taxing entity.

 

3. Click to select the Rates tab.

 

5. Click Add a New Rate.

 

6. Enter the taxing entity's mill rate in the Certified Rate field.

 

7. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The taxing entity mill rate is saved.
