An employee worked 2.15 hours. The employee wants to add 6 hours of vacation time to make up the difference for an eight hour work day. How do I do that?

To add vacation time or comp time to the employee's timesheet:
the organization's leave policy allows the employee to use leave time in the increment requested. Some leave time policies may restrict the employee to using leave in blocks of 4 or 8 hours.
the employee must be able to edit their timesheet.
Solution
To add leave hours to an employee's timesheet,
find the leave pay code, and add the leave hours the employee is using to the employee's timesheet. In this example, the employee is using 6 hours of vacation pay, which they coded to the Police - Vacation Pay task/activity..
in the Additional Hours (row at the bottom of the timsheet), enter the leave hours to add to the timesheet. In this example, the employee is adding 6 hours worked to Tuesday, 4/15.
after you add 6 hours to the task/activity (Police - Vacation Pay) and add 6 hours to the additional hours, the timesheet total for Tue, 4/15 is 8.15 and the hours total for Tue, 4/15 is 8.15 hours. The timesheet total and hours total should show the same amount.
