Error: Distribution code allows sales tax

Issue

I'm trying to change the interface but a warning message pops up every time I try to select a different interface type. Why?

Explanation

The warning message displays on the screen when a user changes the interface and a distribution is set up to allow sales tax. The interface cannot change when there's a distribution that allows sales tax. The warning message will list the distribution codes that need your attention.

Solution

Choose an option.

  • Turn off the option to Allow Sales Tax on the distribution code. Do this for all of the distribution codes listed in the warning message. Change the interface, and then go back to the distrubtion code(s) to turn on the option to Allow Sales Tax.

  • Delete the distribution(s) that allow sales tax, and then change the interface.
