Error: Tax amounts do not match
Issue
An employee has year-to-date tax amounts that do not match the employee and employer transactions.
Explanation
The employee tax amount should match the employer tax amount. If the employee year-to-date tax amount doesn't match the employer year-to-date tax amount, it may mean an employee pay code was set up incorrectly.
Solution
To fix this issue, check the employee pay code setting for the pay code that's listed in the error report. (Modify Existing Employees > Pay Codes tab)
