Error: Social Security calculation error
Issue
An employee has an amount deducted for Social Security that doesn't match the calculated amount by more than $1.
Explanation
The Social Security amount deducted for the employee should match the amount calculated. If the amounts don't match, the difference should be less than $1. If the difference is greater than $1, there may be an issue with the employee pay code setting or it could be a calculation error.
Solution
To fix this error, review the employee pay code for Social Security. (Modify Existing Employees > Pay Codes tab)
