Select an object.
Insert plain text.
Show variable list and use it to format a variable.
Insert a check box control.
Insert formatted text.
Insert an image. You can use an image saved in a report or use an image from a website.
Insert a panel to group controls together. When you move, copy, or paste a panel, it include all of the controls in the panel.
Insert a table.
Display text so each character is printed in an individual cell.
Draw a line. You can choose the direction, style, width, and color.
Draw various shapes.
Insert a bar code.
Embed a report in the current report.
Display auxiliary information on report pages, such as date, time, page numbers, or user name.
Insert a page break to start a new page.
Draw a vertical line that can span multiple report bands. Use a cross-band to emphasize a report area that includes more than one report band.
Draw a rectangle through several report bands. Use a cross-band box to encompass a report section that includes multiple report bands.
