How do I change my default journal for calculating payroll checks? (2025.02)
Issue
I want to set the default payroll journal for posting payroll check transactions. It used to be in Options, but now it's gone.
Explanation
In version 2025.02 or later, the journal was moved from the Options window to the Calculate Payroll view.
Solution
To set the default journal, use the Journal box to select the journal for pay checks (PC). The view will remember the journal as the default journal for calculating payroll checks.
