You can convert a table list into a report definition so you can use it with the new report writer. As of the 2018.08 version, all table lists should be converted to a report definition. You can use Convert Table Lists in the event that a table list was not converted to a report definition. You can also use this tool if you have created a table list after you have installed the 2018.08 release.

Before proceeding, back up the current files. Always make a back up of the database BEFORE running routines that modify or delete transactions. See the help topic titled How do I back up the database?
Verify the name of the converted report does not match the name of an existing report within the same application. Converting a table list with the same name as an existing report definition will replace it. To save the existing report definition, rename it or change the name of the table list.
Convert a table list into a report writer definition that you can run on version 2018.08 or later.
Do this...
1. Open Connect System Management > System Tools > Convert Table Lists.
2. Select the Application that uses the table list.
When you select an application, Connect will show you all of the table lists that have been created in it. If it's a long list, use the search bar to find it faster.

3. Select the checkbox next to the table list(s) that you want to convert.

4. Check the column titled Already Exists to see if a report with the same name as the table lists already exists.
If a report with the same name already exists, you can
Convert the table list. If you continue, the routine will replace the existing report definition with the converted table list.
Change the report definition name. You can open the application and change the report definition name.
5. Click GO (CTRL+G).
