Print the SUTA Wage List for the State of Alabama. The SUTA Wage List is filed on a quarterly basis to show the organization is complying with paying state unemployment insurance, also known as SUTA. You can print the SUTA Wage List detail report and SUTA Wage List by SUTA type.
1. Open Connect Payroll > State Reports > SUTA Wage List.
If you have more than one state set up in the States table, use the Get Report State window to select AL.
2. Set up the report date range.
3. Click to select the Print Detail Report checkbox.
4. Set up the Alabama SUTA pay codes.
Add the SUTA pay codes for total gross wages to the SUTA Hours Pay Codes box.

5. Click Print (CTRL+P).
The SUTA Wage List prints.
1. Open Connect Payroll > State Reporting > SUTA Wage List.
2. Set up the report options, as usual.
3. Click to select the Print Form checkbox.
4. Click to select the Forms tab.
Make sure the Form Type shows SUTA Wage List (AL) and then set up the option for printing forms. To learn more, see How do I update my form options? (Reports)
5. Click Print (CTRL+P).
The SUTA Wage List form prints.
The electronic file will include the employee's Social Security number, last name, first name, middle initial, wage amount, and if the employee is over 18 years of age.
Do this...
1. Open Connect Payroll > State Reporting > SUTA Wage List.
2. Set up the report options, as usual.
3. Click to select the Create Electronic File checkbox.

File name: Enter the file path and file name. Include the .txt file extension.
Format: Select the report definition for formatting the report data in the electronic file.
4. Click Print (CTRL+P).
The SUTA Wage List is saved as electronic file. You can open the electronic using a text editor to review the report data.
