How do I edit a restricted field?

A restricted field is a field that can be locked so it can't be edited. In Connect, a locked field has a gray background.

Unlocking a locked field

To unlock a locked field, click Restricted Fields button and then enter the Field Access password.

The Restricted Fields button changes to an open lock and the restricted field can be edited.

Locking restricted fields

Click the Restricted Fields button again to lock the restricted fields on the screen.

 

Selecting restricted fields

Click Options (F12) to add or remove fields from the Restricted Fields list.

 

Changing Field Access Password

The Field Access password is saved in the System Management Organization table.
