Adding a location or customer number to a service order

To add a location or customer number to an existing service order, delete the service order and set up a new service order. In 2020.08 or earlier, you could add a location or customer number to an existing service order. In 2020.08 or later, the Modify Existing Service Order view will allow you to update the information on the location and customer number but you will not be able to add a new location or customer number unless you set up a new service order. Some organizations want to discourage users from assigning service orders to the wrong location. Watch a video (0m50s)
