Set up a master bank record to share the next available EFT check number with Connect applications that use the master bank record to create EFT check transactions.
Storing and sharing EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) check numbers with other Connect applications can make it easier to use EFT. An EFT check number acts as a unique identifier for transactions. Sharing the EFT check number helps with payment reconciliation and audits.
For example, you can use the Connect Payroll system to generate EFT check numbers for payroll checks and Connect Utility Management can use EFT check numbers to refund customer deposits. Sharing EFT numbers means each transaction will be assigned to an EFT check number, the check numbers will not be duplicates or overlap.
You can use this option to
share EFT check numbers across Connect applications.
NOT share EFT check numbers with Connect applications using the same bank.
This option is included in version 2025.02.

2. Look up the bank with EFT check numbers.
