Where can I find my database properties?

The Database Information Report includes the following information:

  • Database name

  • Version number

  • Size

  • Table name

  • Record count

 

You can use the Database Information Report to find out how much space the database is using on the server.

 

Printing the Database Information Report

1. Open Connect System Management > System Tools > Database Information Report.

2. Select a Server.

A server is a computer or computer program that manages access to data in a network. Select the server name that stores the database.

 

3. Select the Organization.

Use the Organization drop-down list to select the name of the database on the server.

 

4. Select the Databases.

This is a list of databases that belong to the organization. Select the checkbox next to a database to include it on the report. Clicking Select All will include all databases.

 

5. Select the List Each Database On a Separate Page checkbox.

Use this option to start printing each database at the top of a new page to make the report easier to read.

 

Do you want to start printing each database on a new page?

  • Yes, start printing each database on a new page. Click to select List Each Database on a Separate Page.

  • No, print databases as a continuous report. Click to deselect List Each Database on a Separate Page. 

 

6. Select the Include Table Detail checkbox.

The table detail is the table name and the number of records found in the database.

 

Do you want to include the table detail?

  • Yes, include the table detail. Click to select Include Table Detail.

  • No, exclude the table detail. Click to deselect Include Table Detail.

 

7. Click GO (CTRL+G).

The report has been printed.
