How do I add more time to an existing time entry? (Connect Online)

If you've already added a task and activity to your the timesheet, you can add more hours to the task and activity. Each hours allocation includes a separate comment. The additional hours will be assigned to the task and activity while the comment will tell you why the extra hours were recorded.

 

Before you get started

  • You'll need to enter and save a time entry for a task and activity on your timesheet.

  • Only sites that have Project Accounting installed with the option to use Billing Comments turned on will see the billing comments entered by everyone else. Otherwise, users will see only billing comments and hours.



Adding more time to an existing time entry

1. Open My Dashboard.

2. Click the link titled View My Timesheet.

3. Click the time entry that you want to add time to.


My Timesheet expands to show the Hours Allocation section.

 

4. Scroll to the bottom of the Hours Allocation form and then click the link titled +Add Hours Allocation.

The Hours Allocation section expands to show a new section titled New Allocation.

5. Fill in the fields in the section titled New Allocation.

 

6. Click Save.

The timesheet shows the total hours recorded for the task and activity.
