Use a proxy to fill in an employee's timesheet when the employee is not available. Proxy status is granted by department. You can set up a proxy for each department. You can have more than one proxy for a department. The employee who is selected as proxy must be part of the department that they will serve as proxy.
Make sure the employee that will serve as proxy is assigned to a position in the department.
1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Departments.
2. Use the Department field to enter a department name. Press Enter.
3. Click the Timekeeping tab.
4. Click the Department Timesheet Entry tab.
5. Click to select the checkbox titled Allow Timesheet Employee Proxy.
6. Select the employees who can serve as proxy.
Click Add Employees.
The Search form displays an employee list.
Select the employee who will serve as proxy and click OK.
7. Click Save (CTRL+S).
The employee is set up as proxy for the department. As proxy, the employee can fill in timesheets for employees in the department. Next, update the employee record to allow the employee to serve as proxy for the department. See the help topic titled
