How do I set up Quick Time Clock?

Quick Time Clock is another way your employees can clock in and out. 

You may want to set up Quick Time Clock if you have employees who 

  • don't have access to a computer, 

  • have not been set up with user rights to Connect Online, 

  • will be using only a smart phone or tablet to clock in and out, or

  • prefer using a smart phone or tablet to clock in and out. 

 

 

The Quick Time Clock is optimized for use on a smart phone or tablet. You can set up employees with access to the Weekly Hours widget in My Dashboard (Connect Online), Quick Time Clock, or both. 

 

You can control who has access to Quick Time Clock using:

  • Organization settings. Required to use Quick Time Clock. 

  • Department settings. Grant rights to use Quick Time Clock to a department. 

  • Employee settings. Grant rights to use Quick Time Clock to an employee. 

 

 

First, request a URL for Quick Time Clock

You will need a separate URL for Quick Time Clock. You can request a URL for Quick Time Clock by contacting customer support at (800) 243-8275. 

I already have a URL for Connect Online? Quick Time Clock requires its own URL. You cannot use the Connect Online URL to set up Quick Time Clock. 

 

When you contact customer support for a URL, they will walk you through the steps to enter the URL and register it with Caselle. 

Timekeeping Organization, Register for Time Clock

 

Second, set up Timekeeping to use Quick Time Clock

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Organization.

2. Click to select the Connect Online tab.

3. Click to select the checkbox titled Enable Quick Time Clock.

4. Set up the time out period. 

This is how long a user can leave Quick Time Clock open before they need to log in again.

5. Set up the Quick Time Clock setting at the Organization level. 

The Use Only Quick Time Clock option will disable the Weekly Hours widget in My Dashboard for Connect Online. If you select this option at the Organization, your employees will only be able to use Quick Time Clock to clock in and out.

What do you want to do?

  • my employees will use Quick Time Clock. Do not select the Use Only Quick Time Clock checkbox. You can set up Quick Time Clock in the department or employee settings. 

  • y employees will use Quick Time Clock. Select the Use Only Quick Time Clock checkbox.
