How often can employees clock in or clock out?

If you're using Connect Online, you can choose how often an employee in a department can use Connect Online to clock in and clock out.

 

Before you get started

  • You'll need to purchase and install Connect Online.

  • You'll also need to update the user security settings in System Management to allow the employees to use Connect Online to clock in and clock out.

 

Setting the default number of clock in and out times

1. Open Connect Timekeeping Organization Departments.

2. Use the Department field to enter the name of the department that you want to assign to an approval process.

3. Click to select the Timekeeping tab.

4. Use the field titled Allow Employees to Clock In and Out [ _ ] Times to enter a number.

One (1) equals a clock in entry AND a clock out entry. For example, using 4 would mean an employee can use Connect Online to clock in four times and clock out four times.   

5. Click Save (CTRL+S).

Employees can clock in and clock out a limited number of times.
